Africa Hope, Inc.

There are no words to describe how amazing it feels to hold a precious African child in my arms. Their little hearts are aching for someone to love them and I want to spend my life sharing the love of Jesus with them.

I love my Jesus with all of my heart and nothing pleases me more than doing what the Lord had called me to do.

I just recently (re)started school with the vision of becoming a nurse, so that I can help care for Africa's orphans in ways that many other missionaries cannot.  I have lost count of the several warnings I have received about how difficult it is to get into nursing school. All I can tell them is, "Well then you don't know my God! He has called me to this and I daresay nothing and no one can stop me!!" I want this so badly I can taste it!

My plan (thus far) is to get my degree, work in a children's hospital for however long the Lord will have me, and then eventually take what I have learned onto the mission field full-time.

I have been on several mission trips in the past, once to Africa, and I plan to travel to Sudan later this year. If you have ever planned on going to Africa or any other place on missions, I give you this warning: You WILL get hooked! (:

I am currently working full-time to get myself through school, and I go out of the country as often as my schedule will allow. I am so excited for the day when I can finally say,"I'm a nurse! And I'm moving to Africa!"
