Biography   

FelixTshimanga, MD, B.S., MT (ASCP)

Founder &President of Africa Hope, Inc.

     Dr Felix graduated from University of Kinshasa Medical School in the Democratic Republic of Congo since 1990. He had the privilege to practice medicine in his native country while helping theneedy people. As a general practitioner, he worked in rural areas serving disadvantaged population in the Democratic Republic of Congo for a year after completion of his medical school. Then he moved to South Africa in1992 where he worked as a Medical Doctor both, in private practice and University hospitals where he gained extensive experience serving the poor and disadvantaged population. From South Africa, Dr Felix moved to the United States of America on a new venture where he decided to join the educational system, teaching in City University of New York at Monroe College both, in theBronx and New Rochelle campus. Dr Felix has recently relocated from New York to Atlanta Georgia where he works for a state-of-the art healthcare system wellknown for its high standard. Dr Felix is also involved in Georgia state educational system where he is a college professor, teaching health sciences classes in colleges around Atlanta Georgia.

      In addition to his Medical Doctor degree, Dr Felix has also earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Medical Technology and Bio-Medical instrumentation in 2002 from State University of New York in Stony Brook. He is fully certified with the American Society for Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). In 2005, eager to expand his knowledge and services to the needy, Dr Felix decided to pursue a second Doctoral Degree in healthcare administration with University of Phoenix with special interest in studying how to reform the United States health care system. He is expecting to earn his Ph.D. in healthcare administration at the end of year 2009.

      From marital stand point, Dr. Felix is married to his precious and beautiful wife Nina Tshimanga since 1998, and they have three beautiful children: Esther (10), Eleazar (8), and Ezechiel (4). They are both strong believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and they enjoy helping and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the needies. His wife is pursuing her education as a Physician Assistant in Atlanta, Georgia.

     In May of 2007Dr Felix founded, by divine mandate, a charitable organization called AfricaHope, Inc. dedicated to help children of African nations in areas of education, health, and orphanage. He presently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Africa Hope Inc., currently located in Atlanta Georgia.      His hobbies include but are not limited to reading, soccer, swimming, and traveling. Most of all, Dr Felix enjoys preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ as leaded by God’srevelation.
